    UV Coating vs. Matte Finish:

    UV coating is a high gloss finish that is applied to either one or both sides of the business card.  Matte finish is a dull flat type of finish without the shiny gloss to it.  Some people choose to have a high gloss on the front of the card but not on the back of the card.
